Today we’re reviewing a new POD from Joyetech: eGrip MINI.

The EGrip Mini has a stylish design with an all-metal look, giving it a luxury feel. It uses cartridges like most POD, making it very easy to use and an always-ready device. It hosts a small battery but large enough for your daily use, to balance the small cell, it has USB Type C for fast charging.

When you open the box you’ll find all you need to start vaping immediately:

Design

It’s easy to compare the EGrip Mini to the Exceed Grip as they’re very similar. If they almost have the same dimension, the EGrip Mini is a lot thinner, only 1cm. Due to its thinnest, the battery is also a lot smaller, a little more than two times smaller: 420mAh.

The EGrip Mini design is a delight with its aluminum body and vibrant colors. It sure gives it a high end feeling.

Functions
There’s not a single button on the EGrip Mini. It has constant power output. It means to power the device; you vape just as you would do with any cigarettes. When you inhale, the airflow sensor will fire the mechanism and heat the coil. Making vaping a very natural gesture.

The con with this kind of device, there’s no level indicator and no adjustment. It’s suitable for users who’re happy with the alterations of the POD. But for users who want more, there’s nothing you can do.

Cartridges

There’re two types of cartridges you can use with the EGrip Mini:

• 2ohm Ni-Cr pod –  This option is more suitable for MTL vapers, it’s also perfect to use with Salt Nicotine.
• 5ohm mesh pod – This mode delivers a stronger nicotine level, a good fit for DTL vapers, as it provides a thicker e-juice.

The cartridges are refillable from the side hole and will hold up to 1.3ml of your preferred e-juices.

The coils are not replaceable, though, so you have to change the cartridges when the coil burned.

Battery and Charging

The EGrip Mini has a mini battery (420mAh); however, it can last a day without any problem. It has fast charged with USB Type C, and it takes only 30 minutes to recharge the POD fully.

An LED indicator will inform you of the level of the battery at any time with its changing colors.
